10a.m.-Noon             Shopping in Historic Uptown Westerville       
All roads lead to Historic Uptown Westerville, a 19th Century shopping district which offers everything from antiques, art galleries and hand-made gifts to bookstores,  quaint eateries, coffee houses, ice cream parlors and specialty shops.

               

12:15a.m-1:30p.m.     Lunch

Choose from Pasquales Pizza-Pasta in Uptown Westerville, MCL Cafeteria, China Garden Buffet or the Monte Carlo Italian Restaurant and enjoy!

 

1:45-2:30p.m.    Something Just for Fun at the Creative Stone Company

See where garden stones are made by a local artist and choose from supplies to make a bookmark or key chain to take home! $3 per person.

 

2:45-4p.m.                Hanby House Tour

Benjamin Hanby composed more than 80 songs, including "Darling Nelly Gray" and Up on the Housetop". His family's home, which was a stop on the Underground Railroad, is now a museum containing five rooms of original antiques from the Civil War era and some of Ben's original instruments, musical scores and personal artifacts. The Hanby House also features a "kitchen garden" made up of plants from 1850-1890. Guests can see, smell and sometimes taste the culinary, medicinal, dye, fragrance, herbs and vegetables from the late 19th Century. $2 per person. AAA and Senior discounts available.

Follow the path to the beautifully landscaped Inniswood Metro Gardens and walk any or all of the 121 acres of specialty gardens, flowerbeds and natural woodlands and see the spring bulbs in bloom.
