Fourth Fridays: Fourth Friday Celebrations are held the fourth Friday of each month April through October in Historic Uptown Westerville. From 6-9pm, you and your family can enjoy music, food, fun, children's activities and extended shopping hours in Uptown's unique shops. Each Fourth Friday Celebration has a different theme, including June's Safety Fest, co-sponsored by the WVCB and the Westerville Divisions of Police and Fire and August's Dog Days of Summer, brought to you by the WVCB, The Capital Area Humane Society and Captivating Canines. Westerville Music and Arts Festival: Since 1973, the Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce has been bringing visual and performing artists from all over the country to share their talents with Central Ohio. This family event also showcases the art of local school children. The M&A Festival always takes place the second full weekend of July at Heritage Park, 60 N. Uptown Westerville: Victorian buildings, brightly colored awnings, and tree-lined streets await you in Uptown Westerville. Antiques, bookstores, art galleries, unique gift stores, coffee houses, ice cream parlors and quaint restaurants are what you will find in Uptown. Follow any of the brick walkways to a cozy bed and breakfast, one-of-a-kind shops or Otterbein College and you'll be charmed.

Jazz at Otterbein: If Jazz is your thing, Otterbein's Department of Music offers Jazz performances by faculty and students.The Department also offers performances in a wide variety of musical styles and the Department of Theatre and Dance also offers quality performances throughout the year. Classic Car Show: Each September, the Westerville Sertoma Club teams up with the Westerville Parks and Recreation Department to bring everything from classic cars to military vehicles, which are judged in over 20 classes. There are also arts and crafts vendors, performances and food. This year, the event will be held on August 31st as part of Westerville's Sesquicentennial Celebration.

Dog Days of Summer: On the Fourth Friday of August, Westerville goes to the dogs for the Dog Days of Summer. Your dog could be a champion in the Best on the Street Dog Show and parade around Uptown Westerville to raise money for the Capital Area Humane Society as part of the Mutt March. The Uptown shops stay open late, there are arts and crafts vendors, vendors selling a variety of products and services for your pooch, plus food and children's activities. Dog Days is part of the Fourth Friday Celebrations sponsored by the Westerville Visitors and Convention Bureau. For more information go to our Calendar of Events.

Halloween Party: The Westerville Parks and Recreation Department sponsors a variety of Halloween event for all ages during the month of October. Regattas at Hoover Reservoir: Both the OSU Crew Club and the Westerville Crew use the waters of Hoover Reservoir to speed to victory. Check out their schedules on our Calendar of Events.

Tree Lighting Ceremony: Each December, the Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Westerville Parks and Recreation Department bring the holiday spirit to the Municipal Building at 21 St. State St. with the Tree Lighting Ceremony. The event features live holiday music, a candle lighting ceremony and much more. Other holiday events include Mommy and Me for Holiday Tea, Evening at the North Pole and the Snowflake Castle.
