Learn about “Glorious Daylilies.” If you yawn as you pass the traditional daylilies at the garden center, don’t miss what Charles and Cynthia Lucius have to say about the cutting-edge day lily varieties from their Amity Abloom gardens in Hilliard. New hybrids inlcude monster two-tone blooms, wire-edged coloring, spider and ruffled petals and color extremes from white to blackish red.

And whether you are planning to plant bulbs in a fresh, newly prepared empty garden or whether you are adding them to an already existing one, Brent Heath will have the answers for you! You will be introduced to the best of the best…the right bulbs for the right spots. You’ll earn how to combine bulbs, perennials, annuals, ground covers and flowering shrubs that create just the feeling you want to generate for four seasons in your garden. You’ll leave with the inspiration to create a garden that you will enjoy all year. Brent is a long time horticulture educator, speaker, gardener, photographer and proud owner, with wife Becky of Brent and Becky’s Farm in Gloucester, Virginia where you can find that specialty plant.

Light refreshments will be served. Registration is required, $25 for IGS members, $35 for non-members. Call the Inniswood Garden Society today at 614-895-6216 to reserve your seats.
