Minecraft Competition:

Calling all digital builders!! Enter the Minecraft Competition presented by Mr. Game Room at’s Columbus STEM & Arts Expo on 11/17 at “The Point” at Otterbein! Competitions will be played on an Xbox system in the ultra-cool Mr. Game Room game truck & will consist of building challenges.  Kindergarten – 8th Grade competitors will be awarded points based on their performance toward completion of the task. Register at!

Columbus Instrumental Music Contest:

If your child plays an instrument & likes to compete, register them to perform in the Columbus Music Contest at’s Columbus STEM & Arts Expo on 11/17 at “The Point” at Otterbein! “Build Your Own Video Game” Challenge:

Learn the basics of coding & build your own Video Game on Scratch with Code Ninjas at’s Columbus STEM & Arts Expo on 11/17 at “The Point” at Otterbein!

Coding is the language of the future, so there will be jobs for coders that do not exist today. Experts say coding is not just for coders! Coding is a LOT of fun, & students learn about computers, problem solving, teamwork, logic, confidence, & passion. Register at

Paper Airplane Contest:

Future Engineers & Aviators: Enter the Paper Airplane Contest, presented by Engineering for Kids, at’s Columbus STEM & Arts Expo on 11/17 at “The Point” at Otterbein. For this contest, students will be tasked with designing and building an aerodynamic paper airplane. Airplanes will be judged by distance traveled. Students must use paper provided at the event – each participant will be given 2 pieces of paper (8 1/2 x 11), but only 1 may be used for the contest.
