WESTERVILLE, OH–The Westerville Lions Club is proud to bring this long-standing tradition to the community! The Westerville Children’s Christmas parade will step off from State St. and Electric Ave. once the last walkers have made the half-way turn in the Rudolph Run/Walk 5K (approximately 2:20pm) on Sunday, December 9, 2018.
The parade will proceed north on State St. (St. Rt. 3) through Uptown Westerville to St. Paul the Apostle Church. Onlookers are encouraged to line the route early to cheer on the Rudolph Run/Walk participants. The race will begin and end at HER Realtors on North State Street.

Run/walk registration includes a t-shirt printed by Rising Moon Custom Apparel. All runners who register before November 19 will receive their specified size. Participants registering after November 19 will receive a t-shirt, with sizes depending on availability.
Community groups and organizations wishing to be part of the Children’s Christmas parade must complete a registration form.
Proceeds from the parade and run/walk will benefit the Central Ohio Lions Eye Bank and the Ohio Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation. In addition, proceeds are used to provide free local professional glaucoma screenings, collects and distributes recycled eyeglasses to those in need in developing countries and provides free quality eye care and eyeglasses to the needy in our local area. The Lions Club also contributes to Central Ohio Pilot Dogs, Inc., Ohio School for the Blind, Westerville Caring and Sharing, HonorFlight Columbus, Westerville Special Olympics, Camp Echoing Hills and scholarships to senior students in need of financial aid at Westerville’s three high schools.
