Blend Candle Co. offers groups a one-of-a-kind experience that’s ideal for all ages. Groups get to immerse themselves into the emotional connection our brains make with scent and fragrance by making their own candles, reed diffusers and body products. Blend Candle, Co. takes group members on a journey where each gets to customize their very own unique scent creation. They then create fragranced products of their choice to take home. Their guests are always amazed to discover the powerful relationship between scent, memory and emotion, and they truly enjoy this rich exploration of the senses. The experience begins with exploring their expansive fragrance wall, which has 60 different fragrances, such as vanilla, florals and botanicals, smoke, leather -- and so many more. Each was specifically chosen by fragrance specialist and owner, Denise Smith. From there group members choose a beautiful vessel to hold their creations.

Appointments are highly encouraged for groups of six or more, with reservations available online at blendcandleco.com or via email at hello@blendcandleco.com. Denise will work directly with your group to create an unforgettable experience for all attendees. In addition, there is plenty of free parking available right outside their door.  Individuals and couples are also welcome at any time – reservations can be made online and walk-ins are welcome as well.

David Myers Art Studio & Gallery

This beautiful gallery and studio opened in 2002 and offers small group art instruction both on and off site. Instruction includes 2D drawing and painting. Groups will have the privilege of learning from gallery owner, David Myers, who boasts an impressive resume including featured art in The Pro Football Hall of Fame, The Tribune Tower in Chicago, Paramount Studios in Hollywood and many more! David’s work has also been featured on magazine and program covers in Sports Illustrated and on ESPN’s SportsCenter. Private one on one art instruction is also available.

Hanby House

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Hanby House was an official stop on the Underground Railroad and home to the famous musician and composer, Benjamin Hanby. Now a part of the new Ohio Historical Underground Railroad Trail, come explore where the Hanby Family resided from 1853-1870 and learn more about Westerville’s deep-rooted history. Open to the public March-December with group tours available upon request.

Hoover Gardens & Gift Center

Treat your group to a unique and hands on experience through the art of plants. With a variety of offerings from seasonal houseplant & wreath workshops to plant potting, pumpkin painting and more.

Inspiring U

This unique Westerville art studio offers sewing, quilting, crochet, knitting, painting, jewelry-making, clay, card crafting, macrame, wood-burning, and longarm quilting. With a passion for creating, their skilled instructors love to host groups looking to learn a new skill and get their creative juices flowing. Join and already scheduled class or reach out to inquire about scheduling a special group event.

Otterbein Maker Space

Over 5,000 square feet of space equipped with the best-in-class technology including equipment for design, prototyping, short-run manufacturing, laser engraving, vinyl printing and 3-D printing. Group tours available upon request.

Otterbein Theatre

Otterbein University’s theatre department has a national reputation for excellence and offers a variety of performances throughout the year. Sip and Sketch at Good Vibes Winery

Create your own masterpiece while you sip on your favorite beverage. Supplies and instruction led by the Arts Council of Westerville.  Choose from an existing class or contact us to help you schedule a private event.  A great option for your next team outing with venue flexibility, depending on your group size.

Uptown Art & Clay

BYOB and food - Come create and sip. All supplies (clay, glaze, tools, instructor fee) included. Perfect for groups of up to 25 people. Choose from an existing class on their website or ask us about reserving the studio for a private group event.

Westerville Florist – Blooms & Beverages Workshop

From seasonal bouquets to holiday centerpieces, Westerville Florist will lead your group through a hands-on flower arranging experience, pairing a floral-inspired cocktail for your group to enjoy as they create their beautiful arrangements. Perfect for groups of all sizes as the Westerville Florist will come to you. Individuals and couples can also stop into their shop during regular business hours to build their own to-go floral arrangement at the in-store Build Your Own Bouquet Bar.

FUSIAN 101

FUSIAN comes to you. Experience a hands-on workshop where you and your group customize, assemble, and roll your own 10-pc maki sushi roll. Group minimum is 25 and activity can be hosted at any offsite venue that allows outside food and beverage. Want to try the art of sushi making at home with the family or for a unique date night at home? Purchase one of their to-go DIY sushi kits.

Good Vibes Winery - Wine Tasting Experience

Calling all wine lovers! As the only urban winery in Westerville, Good Vibes is proud to offer Ohio-made, internationally grown wine.
