Hoover Reservoir
Hoover Reservoir Park offers over 4,700 acres of peaceful and serene landscape on the eastern edge of Westerville. Along with the city's parks and trails, this park and lake provide guests with a range of recreational activities including picnicking, hiking, boating and fishing. For the bird watching enthusiasts, the park offers a wide variety of bird types ranging from common to rare. The park also features a disk golf course.
Hoover Reservoir and Nature Preserve is operated by Columbus Recreation and Parks, Columbus Division of Water and the Nature Preserve Advisory Council.

Paddle up, strap in, and get ready for some real fun. Hoover Adventures offers hourly rentals of 10' kayaks and 14' canoes to take out on the water on Hoover Reservoir. There are also multiple self-guided tour options with different routes to take, coves to discover, and wildlife to see.

Hoover Sailing Club offers adult and youth class programs. From rigging and sail theory to knot tying, you'll learn everything you need to know to go sailing on your own.. The courses are taught by qualified sailing instructors and combine classroom instruction with on-the-water practice.
