The City of Columbus also owns a good portion of the Metro Parks in the Westerville area and each park offers a different experience to enjoy. When you visit Westerville, make sure to check out each park and take in some nature and fresh air.
Hoover Reservoir Park offers over 4,700 acres of peaceful and serene landscape on the eastern edge of Westerville. The park and lake provide guests with a range of recreational activities including picnicking, hiking, boating and fishing.
Westerville is also home to the only BMX track in Greater Columbus at Alum Creek South Park. Westerville BMX is a USA BMX Sanctioned Program that makes the Olympic Sport of BMX Racing available to people of all ages and ability.
