Getting around in Westerville is easy with the transportation and parking options available to the community. Just a 15 minute drive from the airport or downtown Columbus, the city is a great place to visit no matter the reason you're here. The heart of Westerville is accessible by the main thoroughfare, State Street, and has a variety of free and public parking options, from lots to street parking.

Traveling on two wheels?

Westerville is an extremely cycle-friendly city with 50+ miles of trails and direct access to the Ohio To Erie Trail.  The Westerville Bike Depot, located on the Ohio to Erie Trail, makes it easy for long-distance cyclers coming in from Cleveland. Cincinnati and anywhere in between, to stop and enjoy all that Westerville has to offer. Complete with bike lockers, bathrooms, picnic tables, water fountains, and bike racks, it offers all the amenities needed to recharge and refresh along your journey.  From the Westerville Bike Depot, visitors can easily navigate by bike or on foot to Westerville’s Uptown historic district to shop a variety of boutique stores and art galleries, check out stunning public art, and grab a bite to eat or drink at one of many local eateries. If cycling into Uptown, there are eight bike racks located throughout, to easily park and lock up your bike while you explore.

Electric Vehicles:

The historic heart of Westerville now features charging amenities for electric vehicles. Two chargers (a total of four ports) are available the new parking area in the lot behind Westerville City Hall (accessed from West College Avenue).
